Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi everyone,

Sunday 20 July 2014 will be our last Sunday market day at our current venue, South Harringay School on Mattison Road.
This means that we are looking for another suitable venue in Harringay, and we have 7 weeks left to find one.

We have been open for almost two years, and I'd hate to close the market.
Therefore I am asking everyone's help with looking for a new venue for Harringay Market.

I know most of the local politicians frequently come to the market too, and I hope they can also help us with a solution.

Thanks in advance.

It's a little bleak without those trees...

Could petition to have the artificial one moved from Turnpike Lane station
Or get creative with bunting
Finsbury Park! Seriously you'd be packed.

That would be great.

Also, it would probably be cheaper than the school if you can negotiate a similar deal to the concert promoters.

Isn't it only £80 a day to close Pemberton? Just have it in the middle there.

Is there no chance of using the Infants' School playground?  Is vehicular access the problem there?

Speak to Cem. He's the son of the guy who owns the whole business. I'm sure Quto or Steve and Linda can give you a personal intro.

Another vote here for North Harringay school. When it was there before, a lot of people brought their kids because the playground was a great play for them to hang out while parents had coffees & burgers.
What's the minimum you need in terms of facilities Jessica? Presume you need access to water and electricity, but anything else?

Second that. Electricity and water from the caf'.

Café is closed on Sundays. Maybe from the Community Centre.

( where the hell did that e acute come from ?? Spell checker ?? )

Café outré canapé but navre desole .  How odd.
