Hi Louise,

I may be in need of a plumber myself but think it is a very minor job with my overflow pipe and I've been trying to find a handy friend who would know these things...however, as none of my friends seem to have a clue about these things I may be resorting to the professionals very shortly. 

Can you tell me if Pete had a call-out fee and if so, how much was it?

Hi Sarah. He charged me £100 for the whole job!! And it was Sunday. Not sure if callout charge included but as far as I'm concerned it was a bargain!!

Hi, I had a plumbing emergency on the bank holiday Sunday (radiator pipe leaking – water coming through ceiling). Off the back of the recommendation on this forum I called Pete. Despite the fact that he was at the airport about to go on holiday Pete passed on the details of his brother in law, also Pete.

Pete turned up a few hours after I spoke to him despite it being a bank holiday weekend. Half an hour later diagnosis was complete and the pipe was replaced. Charged what I thought was a very reasonable £50.

Good experience all round – second Pete being Pete Hart 07946521080.

I second Pete Hart! Fixed a leak, a broken radiator, and then fitted a new radiator with minimum impact on my newly finished wood floor. No messing about, he gets the job done quickly, neatly, and a very fair price. Highly recommended.  Pete Hart 07946521080

Another positive recommendation for Pete Hart. We were out of town when our boiler stopped working and the friend minding the flat couldn't get any hot water. Pete had to make several visits and co-ordinate things with the specialist boiler guy, the neighbour holding our keys, etc, which he did really efficiently, and kept us apprised of developments via text. He was also happy to wait till we got back to sort out the payment. It was shaping up to be a disaster but he sorted it out with minimal fuss and for a reasonable price too. Thank you Pete!

Phoned Pete this morning, and he turned up about 2 hours later. Currently replacing my bathroom basin and tap for a very reasonable sum. Highly recommended.
