After objecting to Antipliler's plans for having late licences on either side of Roseberry Gardens, it appears they have withdrawn their application.
However, they have simply re-applied with the same times and details.
I'm not sure whether the many objections had anything to do with this. But it seems rather coincidental.
They withdrew and re-applied a couple of days after I posted this discussion.
The many objections would have come as somewhat of a surprise. By withdrawing and re-applying, they will have given themselves time to drum up support from local businesses, their pals at the Traders' Association, and the more accommodating of the local councillors.
Any previous objections now need to be re-submitted (they will not be applied to the new application).
As before, if anyone would like to object, either do so individually or send your name and address to kennedy.phil(at)gmail.com and I will add you to the petition.
Haringey Licensing has assured me that all names and addresses will be redacted in my application. This will not necessarily be the case for individual submissions.
Submissions close on May 18th.
Thanks Phil. I'll get on to it too.
That's right, Paul deleted his account (as it happens we met him in The Salisbury this week - it was a self-control measure!).
Would you like us to delete your now out of context replies to Paul on that thread?
Done.
Didn't Cllr Canver write into support their application because, "they're a big supporter of the Council"? Whatever could she have meant?
