Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

In particular parents of children with Special Needs.

My son will be moving up to Secondary School in Sept 2015, he has global development delays and learning difficulties and we were very impressed with the support the school say they can provide for him.

But I would love to talk to some parents who have children at the school, so please contact me if this is you or if you know someone who would be willing to talk to me.

Thanks, we have pretty much decided to 'state our preference' for APS. But it is a big decision and we're not sure if he'll cope with mainstream school so it would be great to speak to parents who are in a similar position.

A friend of mine's son went to APS. He had excellent support. He has special needs and is on the Autistic spectrum. He's at 6th form now. Her daughter has similar needs and gets excellent support at Heartlands.

Thanks Sharon, I've also heard great things about Heartlands.

Also thank you Thérèse - I will PM you.

My daughter who has Down Syndrome attended APS from 2007 to July 2013.   She gained a GCSE in Science and  excellent passes in English and Vocational Skills - can't tell you how proud I am.    She is now attending Haringey 6th Form {H6F} and absolutely loves it.

Heartland High is another fantastic school with extremely experienced support staff, my daughter attended their media classes once a week which were really good.

Best of luck.

Thank you C-hemp that is very good to know! And congratulations to your daughter.
