Where can I buy freshly roasted coffee beans?
As above, I've just moved to the Ladder (Effingham) and looking for somewhere local to buy decent freshly roasted coffee beans. I'm sure there must be somewhere on Green Lanes, but haven't had much success so far. Any recommendations?

Another easy and *very* local option is to buy beans from Blend Cafe at the bottom of your road. They have climpsons and can tell you how fresh the roast is, but i know they have a good turnover, and I buy them myself from them.
Another stockist of Hasbeen's is Vagabond in Stroud green, on the corner of Stroud Green road and Tollington park.

I second getting Climpson's from Blend - bought some for my coffee snob husband and he was very pleased with them.
