Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

A reminder, the first Pemberton Play Street will go ahead tomorrow between 2-5pm. Please feel free to bring your kids to play in a traffic free environment.

Do please also remember that while we have various marshals and volunteers around, your kids safety is our concern but your responsibility- parents need to look after their kids during the event.

Justin, worth stressing to people that there may well be traffic on the road from time to time as it is "access only", in that the road is closed to through traffic but Pemberton residents wanting to move their car into or out of the road still have a legal right to do so. Stewards will ensure they do so very carefully and people need to clear the road whilst any cars are moving about.

Wouldn't want people assuming it's completely traffic free. We have to be careful to stress this when we run our play street sessions on Avondale Road. Unless you do have a different arrangement and Pemberton Road is totally closed for the session?

We'll be popping along, can't wait to see it in action!

Fingers crossed for the weather for you

As several folks have mentioned to me tonight. Kids love the rain!

There will be at least 11 more Stan, so lots to go at.
This is a great idea. Just one question, will my visitor be able to park there? I doubt they will be moving the car tomorrow.
Hi. If it is a visitor on Pemberton, in or out, that should not be a problem.

Paul is right about highlighting that residents may move in an out of the road, but I was trying to be brief. It is an important point though.
Thanks, they are already parked outside my flat on Pemberton since last night and won't be moving the car til tomorrow. Was just checking because I didn't want them to get a ticket or anything. It's great listening to the kids playing outside. This should happen every Sunday!
Just popped my head out the window and what a wonderful sight of dozens of children whizzing up and down on their little scooters. Makes me wish I had one (a scooter not a kid).
Thanks so much to Justin for organising this - it was such good fun, even with the rain. It was hilarious, as well as mildly terrifying, seeing hordes of children zooming down the road on scooters and bikes.

Can't wait until the next one - could you post the dates on here Justin?
