Thanks to everyone for a fab afternoon at the Ladder fete

I had nothing to do with tent erection, this not being my strong point, although I was good at holding the ladder for the ladies putting up the bunting. I have to confess I spent most of the morning watching the men work (which is just the way i like it!) and most of the afternoon drinking London Pride.
I, too, would like to extend a big thanks to the ladies who did the food stall and washed up, to the face painters and those overseeing badge making and to the chaps who sweated their way through the morning putting up yurts and carrying stuff (names Adam?).
Entire family including mr E out cold by 8.30 last night...excellent!

Thanks to everyone who helped out before, during and after the fete. It was great fun and we lucky with the weather! Linda ran the food stall brilliantly and Muna and Manuela did the mammoth washing up session. Tash face painted for more than 3 hours (!!) and was helped by Hannah, Emma sister's (whose name I don't know) and a couple of others helped out. Azeem, Fiona and Catherine ran the badge making area and Jess and Anna did the full size paintings of the kids (photos to follow). Jack provided and built the Yurt. Pete ran the games (I will be back next year for the sack race!!) and a huge thank you to Tash who was the compere, but had planned just to come along and enjoy the day - i promise to give more notice next time! See you all tonight

Yes, I'd like to say thanks too. We weren't able to stay for long but we were welcomed by Adam about 2 seconds after we walked in the park. Great food, great music and a wonderful atmosphere.

I would like to say thanks to all who worked so hard it was a brilliant day. I would especially like to thank Rachel who was such a sport pitching up to sing with me on very short notice. Adam suggested putting up the lyrics to the Harringay Onlline Anthem
