Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Stealing Public Assets & Common Land
This Condem Gov is determined to get a away with as much as possible while they can, the fact that Harringay is being chosen as the site to house extreme amounts of people from all over London and then selling off and privatising social & emergency services and assets, (including all mental health day centres that are being told to turn into cafes for the public and charge more money so that the mental health users can't afford to use it anymore) what are we going to do about it, put it this way if the communities don't claim and use common areas of land then it will be sold off, just be vigilant, thanks to Harringay Online its good to find out whats happening before it happens rather than months afterwards and having to live with the consequences of bad planning & self-servative folly.

Tania, I agree with every word wot you wrote. On behalf of the Church, the Bishop of London and the Knights Templar, I demand the return of all those valuable strips of Greater Harringay. They are not 'common land', however, but always made a large contribution to the Crusades [vide Hugh of London]. Even without a Jihadist in sight, your own somewhat Woolly Crusade may well qualify for funding to deal with all these "extreme amounts of people" Boris or someone is Condemming us to.

I know that there was an application to register the Pinkham Way site as a village green to stop the waste processing development there. There probably is common land in Haringey. Council's are obliged by law to hold a register of it if you're interested in finding out where you can graze your sheep!

Would be great if anyone could find out.
But to my knowledge, there is none.
There are meant to be 2 strips of Common Land, on Devonshire Hill Lane, on the border of Enfield. But I think the council have just taken it......cos thats how they roll.

I dont know wot gives them the right to charge to find out if we have common land in our area
