Well spotted Neil,

They actually do that once or twice a month to look for ... let's just say, thing's that shouldn't be there :)

It was a slightly more detailed check because of tomorrow's Community Fun Day.

The police is damned if they do and damned if they don't.  The park is heavily used and I think it is good for the police to be seen and appear friendly and approachable.  Besides they might actually discuss local issues while walking the park and seeing something which shouldn't be there...

A not so pop-up cafe - coffee (brew) at ducketts ... possibly. Was something on the plans for this way back.

Hey Sam,

After a lot of thought we decided to remove that small triangle of shrubs because they were struggling to survive. This year we planted new hedging, hundreds of bulbs and an amazing wildflower border.

We also have more new planting planned and some other surprises too. If you would like to get involved and offer suggestions ... we always welcome new faces at the fodc :)
