There's a little about the streams in my main Wikipedia article
I can't see the Moselle brook on there - it's quite a big one in Haringey (and gives it's name to Muswell Hill)... Ah just realised it doesn't go that far out.
Interesting article here, about Boris's plans to uncover some of these lost rivers.

Somehow doubt this will include our beloved brook across Wightman Road!
We could always campaign for it to be routed through Mr Haley's back garden, after all he is the member for the environment.
As for the Moselle, there have been tests done on the stretch in Lordship Rec ground for water quality or something with a view to it being re-established on it's old course. At the moment it's culverted under the path next to the boggy ditch.
After that it goes under the Broadwater Farm (which is built on stilts to keep it from being flooded).
