Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Has anyone looked at the Draft Plan [consultation] documents on the Haringey website. There seems to be an impetus in the Council to make traffic flow through the Shopping City - and consequently down Green Lanes - more difficult. For those travelling north-south the rat run effect will push them through the new link road and down Wightman Road. Or maybe that's part of the Plan?

Have just done this, seems to be working. Hugh, any ideas?
Gill what are you seeing on your screen? It could be that you have a pop-up blocker or a security feature blocking access to the site. Try pasting the follwoing url directly into your browser:

Very well done Paul, Hugh, Ian ... A petition to be proud of.
Good to see petition on front page of site. As a consequence I've now signed it too. That's 30, 5% of members!
It's only just gone live around Midday today Matt.
Oh.

I've emailed 30 other people with Petition link anyways.
Great petition, thanks Hugh.
Btw is teeny typo on last line before the ''For more info see ..'' - should read 'more dangerous and less friendly'.
Thanks A, I think once it's up it's up. We'll have to live with the imperfection (I've gotten used to it!)
I was reviewing past Haringey Consultation exercises and found some words of encouragement from 2007 from Cabinet Member Haley:

"We have worked extremely hard in the past few years to increasingly involve our residents in decision making, and the enthusiastic response to this consultation shows that people are recognising that we do listen and we do respond to their views.

"I hope more residents will now tell us their priorities, and I look forward to demonstrating in a few months time how their responses have determined our highways spending and funding bids."

Such a public statement of support for the sort of action we are now taking will make it very difficult to ignore a substantial petition - we're at 120, we need more! Let's get out and speak to friends and neighbours.
