Does anyone know when this is going to happen? I have received all the bumf, looked at the website etc but can see no indication of timings. Forgive me if I have missed this somewhere! Any ideas? Thanks.

The OLF/PP transformation should start in May for phase 1 (Frobisher to Allison) and phase 2 (Allison to the bridge), completion by April 2014. Hopefully in time to prep for the next street festival??
That's a really positive comment. I should think most people will accept a certain level of disruption in lieu of the improvements we're going to see on Green Lanes.
I think an element of traffic disruption is inevitable but there are lots of fantastic things happening over the next 12 months that will make a huge difference to Green Lanes - its a trade off, yes, but one I for one am happy to make - in the end all Harringay residents will benefit. Thanks to Rob and the whole team involved for making this happen.

your answer is completely unacceptable.
Disruption is inevitable for unforeseen circumstances. If there are going to be major roadworks happening for a year, and it has been known (by the public) for 6 months, I would expect that the initial planning started much earlier.
So, what are the alternatives to parking (for retailers)? Are additional pay&display bays going to be extended in the ladder and garden streets?
How is traffic going to be alleviated? are we opening the street at the back of sainsbury's as an additional escape from Arena shopping centre?
Are speed bumps, limits and vehicle restrictions going to be removed off wightman road?
Are we opening the back of the garden roads into St. Anns Road?
You may be happy to make this trade off, but traffic through Green Lanes is a shambles in the best times. Any bit of disruption throws it into bitter chaos. Any saturday morning it takes less to walk from Allison road to Harringay green lanes than go on a car or bus.
I love that improvements are done to the neighbourhood. I just hate that nobody seems to care about the things that will have a negative impact.
If the traffic flows really well / not so bad how does that correlate with your second paragraph ?

This is all really good news, and is going to make this area so much better. Of course, it has lots of great things about it now, but these developments will build on those and improve the environment of all of us who live here, or shop here.
Has there been a decision on bus lane removal and changing the turn off into St Annes Road? These are the two things that I am against - everything else I've seen looks good and I think will benefit the area.
I agree with the points Ruben made, traffic is the single biggest problem in the area, both on Green Lanes and the road which lead into it. I live on Salisbury road and during the weekend there's a permanent level of traffic outside my house.
Has any study been made on the impact these changes will make to traffic?
There really needs to be another outlet / entrance to the arena shopping centre that's not on green lanes.
