I thought the worst was over; now snow!

Seeking assurance and looking ahead brings no joy either. The Vantage weather service offers this cold comfort:

Spring will struggle to get underway across most regions of the UK, with cooler weather tending to dominate across many parts during March and April. 

May will finally herald the arrival of some spring warmth for the UK. Overall the month will be close to average for temperatures, though chances are high for it to be warmer than usual in south-east England.


May! I've got to wait till May for goodness sake!

So, I'm looking for signs of Spring in the hood - photos, sightings, voices in your head, messages from your god, anything! In the meantime, fasten your seatbelts and fast forward to May!

This cold weather is killing me but the plum blossom outside my bedroom window gives me a bit of a lift.

the last time I recalll snow at Easter was in 1976, when it was followed by drought! Maybe we'll have a hot summer this year! M
