Well I had a quick browse through the site and didn't see anything pertaining to this weekend past so I thought I'd make a congratulatory thread.
It was absolutely HEAVING down there!
Love the new location, and it seems I'm not alone. Wandered in around 1.30 to see Burger Bear Tom working feverishly with 20 on the grill, a huge queue at both Bell and Brisket and the Katsu guys and the brownie girls had sold out.
Well done to all involved, it is such a fantastic thing to have right on our doorstep.

Yes - I got there too late for eggs and just in time for the last lamb chops on the meat stall. Well done, Jessica!
By the time I got there at 1.30 most of the stall holders had sold out, which they were very pleased about!
Jessica
If the numbers stay even close to that high, is there any chance of trying to get one of the fish stalls back? Surely they'd more than turn a handy profit with that number of people through the door?
It was excellent. The site has a really good feel to it - enclosed and sheltered. It was much busier than previous weeks and there was a real community atmosphere - a good vibe, as they used to say! There were one or two new stalls - and the loyal stallholders were rewarded with good trade, it seems. I'm sure the new location will attract new customers from the locality and more good quality stalls (complementary rather than competitive, one hopes). A breakthrough!
Could the high numbers also be down to the weather? It was really lovely in the morning!
I personally liked the previous location more. We ambled "down South" on Sunday and decided it was a little too far for a shopping trip, though a nice walk nevertheless. But then, you can please everyone, can you? :)
N.B. I no longer live on the ladder :P
Quite agree Milda. And a little bit of deja vu going on here. People have short memories.
Well, I'm liking this. I intended to go last Sunday, but it was a friend's birthday, so couldn't make it back in time. South Harringay's where I went to nursery and primary school, so it's nice to see something like this.
right opposite me so pleased as punch and will def be a regular now
Much better location, and this school has such a nice vibe to it! Let's hope it grows from strength to strength. I'm considering going for a stall of my own but still in planning stages at the moment :)
Will be popping round this weekend (was away last weekend). Cant wait to try out the new location as it's just round the corner from me - means I can buy fresh food like meat and cheese, which I couldn't do before as I generally tied in a trip to the market with an afternoon of shopping in Wood Green!
I think I'm going to be a bit spoiled for choice :-)
