Home needed for adult cat
Hello
I wondered if anyone would be interested in offering a home to this adult female cat? She is stray and seems to be in healthy condition. I think she is quite young, maybe less than a year old.
She is frightened of humans but getting used to me over time. She tolerates being stroked and seems to be learning to like this.
I am hopeful that with the right home, lots of time and patience, that she might become tame and a lovely pet. I think she has had limited contact with humans and will take some time to get used to a trust people.

I'm going to have to release her tomorrow evening (Tues 11 Sept) if I don't have an offer of a home for her before then.

Can you not take her to Wood Green Shelter or Cats Protection League in Archway? I'd love to but already in the process of adopting my 3rd stray cat!

Unfortunately I'm not even able to get most charities to answer the phone, they are so busy! the RSPCA have been brilliant though, and have chipped her.

I'm sure Sophie and Sally will know best. From my own experience of taking in 6 strays individually over time, 3 male, 3 female, they all get on together in the end and there are practical tips to settle them in. Also a female cat is easier to introduce than a male cat. Hope someone can offer her a home so that she does not have to go back on the street!

Thanks to everyone for enquiries. After talking to a few people, I think it's best I release her. She seems to be being fed where she was found, and now the kittens are weaned I feel she'll be happier and better off in territory she's familiar with. The RSPCA have tagged her so they can keep an eye on her if she turns up again and monitor the situation.

Hi Hannah - she seems to growl at my 2 cats when they go past the glass door, so not well I suspect.
