You're getting the hang of this, Clive.
Though I have to confess I didn't actually write the fluff 'n' guff above. It's lifted from the Council's own: A Plan for Freedonia.
Incidentally, my own favourite page is 42. (Someone's a Douglas Adams fan). If anyone had bothered to read the "Plan" and correct the obvious typo it would have been an almost perfect few paragraphs of high Obfuscandian.
Yes page 42 is vibrant indeed.
It is replete with mixed and balanced, sustainable pro-active policies to meet the potential of a positive, underpinned destination. They'll secure the future.
I was a little perplexed by the "better public realm" but do like the pictured roof-top allotments.
Clive, towards a new Heatherwickplainspeak:
The angelic Bendy buses are Ken (Labour) and the nasty new Routemasters are Boris buses (Conservative).
Give us a Paddick bus(LD) - not a Boris body on a Paddick chassis (Coalition).
Well Eddie, I hope you saw Cllr Stanton's fine (Steam Punk) effort at a cut-and-shut (slice-and-shut?) pictured above and earlier. It's a kind of Disraeli-bus-body on a Boris-bus chassis. I suppose that wouldn't count as a compromise candidate, as they're both Conservative?
BTW, if aircraft capacity has to be increased about London, I think I'd prefer a Boris Island in the Thames estuary to any additional runway(s) at Heathrow. I suspect anyone who has seen Hong Kong's truly uncompromised, super airport, built wholly on reclaimed land, might agree.
