Olympic torch relay passes Ducketts Common and Turnpike Lane 25.07.2012
I've seen some amazing photo's today of the Olympic torch passing through Haringey. To add a little flavour and give an idea of the atmosphere ... a short video of the torch as it passes by the top of Ducketts Common and Turnpike Lane 18:00 ish 25.07.2012

I got there an hour too early and it was already crowded (and very hot). There was plenty of empty pavement space further down Turnpike lane, but people were already lined up quite far down Green Lanes, where I don't imagine they'd have been able to see much. It did strike me again what an amazingly multi-cultural borough we live in.
