Chatting with Harringay trader Rob Chau the other day, I learned that the chemist at 4 Grand Parade, just near the Salisbury is renovating his building. The good news is that he's not just renovating it, he's restoring all the masonry ands brickwork to its day-it-was-built glory. The whole facade is being repointed and the masonry has been removed and shipped off to a Stoke Newington stone mason for restoration.
Thanks Mr Patel for taking such care.

I noticed that the other day - it's great to see a Landlord taking so much pride in their building and very welcome.
Hooray. This also happens to be an excellent and well stocked chemist. Worth your custom for being such an excellent local trader.
Well done that man!
The staff also didn't complain when my daughter insisted on removing all the rubber ducks from their display and line them up on the floor for a rendition of 13 (usually 5) little ducks went out one day. It's a great chemist (as is the one further towards Sainsbury's that is open 'till 12 - very friendly and helpful as well)
