I ma sorry I could not make your inaugural meeting but I was attending another meeting.

I don't know if any of you are in a position to employ staff but check out the DWP website for information on financial help and support to do this. There is also a really good apprenticeship scheme to help you employ a young person - worth a look?

I also have met a guy who specialises in obtaining funding (from the banks) for small businesses he even helps you prepare a business/application case etc. he is based in the north of England but covers the whole country. Let me know if you want his contact details.

Phillip - we've set up but have yet to circulate/publicise a local business group on HoL. Would be useful if you could join up and add your useful info there.
