Unusual Burglary N6

Hi, I thought this was worth mentioning to make people aware, this message was first emailed to Stroud Green Residents Association...

 

Sorry to bring gloomy news.

At the weekend, the neighbour of a friend came home about 10ish and found that half her front door was missing. The burglars had cut part of the door out. The police apparently said they had never seen this before. It was on a busy bus route (Stanhope Road, N6) and not in the dead of night. She had not left lights or a security lamp on and there is a large hedge in front of her door, so normal precautions not fully undertaken.

However, if you do hear noises, do the 'nosy' neighbour thing as my friend probably ignored some odd noises thinking it was the bus or similar.
