Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi all

I am looking at getting tennis lessons for my seven year-old - does anyone here know where tennis is taught locally (preferably Chestnuts Park or Downhills), what the cost is - and whether there is a waiting list?

Any information gratefully received!

Thanks

My 8yo daughter does tennis in Fairland Park on Sundays. The 11 o'clock slightly older kids group is smallish, has two coaches and parent volunteers. It costs 3.50 a week and is drop in. Don't know if that's too far away for you but my girl enjoys the sessions.

Not that far away but the time is no good! Thanks though! Will keep looking..

Spurs?! Thanks but no thanks! :)

When I looked into more lessons for my daughter I couldn't find very much in Haringey. The best on offer was at White Hart Lane Tennis Club at the Community centre. Here's their page. In the end I couldn't fit it around other commitments but it seemed the most comprehensive programme available in the borough

Thanks Liz, I'll check their website out
