Barbara Windsor opened the market at Wards Corner in 1960something. We're hoping she'll be able to do the honours again for our grand post-regeneration reopening, whenever that will be.
And Gillian Anderson (X-files!) - she was brought up in Rosebury Gardens

It's the one in Crouch End I believe - was thinking of the wider Harringey :-)) She mentioned going home to Harringey on Graham Norton and he turned his nose up - he knows nothing..........

Harvey was a top film star in the late 20s early 30s in Germany, later saving Jens Keith, a gay choreographer from nazi persecution..
In later life she lived with a female companion, together with whom she is now buried.
