Last year's visitors parking permits - are they still valid?

Hello

You need to exchange them for new ones at the Station Road council office, no extra charge. The office will only change so many at a time though (I think it's a maximum of 8 sheets at a time). The new ones are available until 2016. If you don't use them by then, the council won't renew them.

And, I'm afraid it's a long wait in the Station Road office so take a good book or an ipod with you!

I had the following email from the council on 28 October last year in response to the same question:

"Thank you for your email.  There is no need to return your vouchers for exchange as our Civil Enforcement Officers are instructed to ignore the Year of validity on the vouchers.   

They will only be enforcing on the Time, Day, Date and Month of the Visitor Vouchers.

So I think you're in the clear. It won't stop an unbriefed warden giving you a ticket, but it should give you grounds of appeal!

I bought a great wodge when I moved here in 2001. As I have no friends (and they later dropped the 24/7 residents' parking) I still have loads and no way will I be hanging around in Wood Green to update them. They dont have an expiry date on them. My ££ from then will go half as far these days so I don't see why they should be replaced. 

They do seem to work OK, or maybe we don't get any unbriefed wardens round here.

I've been using my expired ones all yaer and no one's got a ticket yet -- knock wood!
