Hi, i just joined this site because i'm myself looking for a builder to knock down a wall --- so don't think i'm suspicious by replying to you! I also just realised this is a harringay forum, not haringey, so maybe i'm a bit of your your zone (by a few streets, haha!) But tottenham don't seem to have a sensible forum like this!

I totally recommend Horncastle Roofers, who are based opposite my new house! We did shop around for quotes from companies all around haringey and beyond but we were happiest with these guys - they really knew what they were talking about, plus they're based a few doors down so we thought it would make life easier should any problems arise, which they didn't. We needed a complete new roof, including new joists, main beam etc, massive job and we've been really pleased with them. Hope you believe me , i know how suspicious people in forums are (i am!) Thanks
