Police are hunting a man who stabbed two women with a needle at bus stops in Haringey
Two women were attacked at bus stops in Harringay and Crouch End.
His victims, who were attacked in separate incidents in Harringay and Crouch End, are waiting for the results of medical tests to see if they have been infected.
The first attack took place at about 9.30am on Friday, November 18, at a bus stop in Green Lanes, close to the BP station.
The suspect approached a 24-year-old woman and jabbed her with a sharp implement, thought to be a needle, before fleeing the scene along Umfreville Road towards Wightman Road, Harringay.
Five days later, at 2.30pm on Wednesday, police believe the same suspect then stabbed a 29-year-old woman with a needle as she waited at a bus stop in Ferme Park Road, Crouch End.
Both women were only slightly hurt during the attacks.
The suspect is described as being of Mediterranean appearance, about 6ft tall with dark hair. He was wearing a baseball cap and a dark-coloured jacket.
Det Con Ben Jefferd, who is leading the investigation, said: “The man committing these offences loiters at bus stops for some time before appearing to select a victim and attacking them.
“These assaults obviously cause great distress to the victims in the weeks after, while they await crucial test results. I ask anyone with information that could help us locate this man to come forward as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information or who knows the whereabouts of the suspect is asked to contact the incident room at Tottenham CID on 07785 381 215 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

They should be on antivirals at once, as a precaution!
I heard about this on Friday, it's just awful. He was around Friday afternoon as the schools were chucking out apparently, seen running off towards Crouch End from the Ferme Park Road area.
