Has anybody lost a parakeet on the ladder?

There are wild Parakeets around - I lived in Friern Barnet last year and we'd regularly have hordes of them (30+) in the Horse Chestnut tree at the bottom of the garden. Quite a sight! I've not yet seen any in N4 though...

He/she was in Beresford Road about an hour ago making a right old racket swearing at some pigeons.

we have a flock of parakeets visit quite regularly in crouch end

I saw a flock of 20-30 green parakeets resting in a tree near Kensal Green recently and summer evenings are regularly punctuated by flocks circling the neighbourhood, their fairly un-muscial screeches piercing the air. Sounds as though they have spotted Harringay as an up-and-coming area...

Spotted a flock of parakeets in Finsbury Park today. Little green screechy critters. Have they escaped from some place?
