Lakeland, John Lewis kitchen dept, Divertimenti.
Trendy kitchen shop in Crouch End Park Road.  Is it still there?
it is! And it's great. They'll have one there.
There's another one in Muswell Hill, I think it's called The Scullery (more or less opposite M&S)

They also have them at Selby's, but I'm looking for something a bit closer to home -- somewhere I don't have to get on a bus and go over the hill -- or get on the tube.

Thanks anyway,

Rachella

Im afraid I am very ignorant and had never heard of a melon baller but felt sure that it must have a more elegant name. Sure enough, Wikipedia tells me it's my old friend, the Parisienne scoop - what, no doubt, the Canard Enchaine would give its eyeteeth for, if a duck has teeth.

btw Anyone notice that Cafe Lemon has just changed its name to Melon Face?

Gill Wing in Crouch End sells everything. Bet you come out with more than melon baller!
Thanks -- I was looking for something east of the burrough. I ended up going to Selbys in Holloway where I bought one. Thanks to everyone who answered.
