Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

The Banner

Just seen the banner and my opinion is that its pretty damn crap.

Why?

You still see much of the shoddy paintwork on the bridge.

The banner is all wrinkled.

The overall design is so crap.

I could go on but I'll give everyone else chance instead.

Oh well.

I think both sides look a bit rubbish. The banner looks like it was made for somewhere else and they had a spare one and bunged it up there.

BUT the traffic flow looks great - did you take it a 5am or something?

I didn't think the bridge could look any worse than it did - but Haringey Council amaze me once more.

I think the problem is John that there was no real consultation. We did some for them which they ignored until it was pretty much too late (except the add Harringay to the name).

Perhaps there's more to come?

But if the council has climbed the bridge under cover of darkness to hang their crafty works it's just another case of UK plc/plutocracy/bankrupt Britain blah blah blah. Another example.; Diageo funding midwife training to give advice on the dangers of al.... You can't make it up! Why not a Starbucks banner across the front of the Civic Centre to pay for the loo rolls ... :)
