North Harringay Primary deputy head running a 55-mile ultra-marathon to raise money for school
The site admin elves are very impressed to read about North Harringay deputy head teacher, Christiaan Maree who is set to run two marathons in a row in the legendary Comrades Marathon in South Africa, on Sunday, May 29 – where the uphill climbs and searing heat make it one of the toughest endurance challenges in the world.
He has already run the London Marathon this year in three hours and eight minutes.
Mr Maree hopes to raise £1,500, which will pay for a clatter bridge and a balance beam for the school playground.
The elves take their little green hats off to you, Sir, and good luck!
