Men to ‘live like beavers’ in Alexandra Palace boating lake

Three intrepid men will “live like beavers” in a lodge built themselves from logs in Alexandra Palace’s boating lake next week.

The men will live in their human-sized beaver lodge – complete with underwater entrance – for 36 hours as part of a TV stunt for a new National Geographic TV series which aims to show how beavers live.

From Tuesday night they will be filmed for an episode of social experiment series Will Live Like A… for the Nat Geo Wild channel, and have been set the task of constructing a dam as beavers would.

They will then venture inside their new home and live like the semi-aquatic mammals – and passers-by will be encouraged to watch.

I really don't want to see their teeth.

Like.

Rather them than me. Wasn't there an outbreak of weils disease in that lake?!
At the end of the programme they will all end up as hats and coats perhaps?
They could be eaten on a Friday by Roman Catholics since, being aquatic animals, beavers are classed as fish.
Which just goes to show the sense of letting writings by nomadic desert herdsmen be used for zoological classification.
