I'm half way through a history degree with the OU (and am just starting A200 - this will make sense to OU students). I love it!
I was out in Harringay this evening and discovered a fellow OU student at the same table. We got to wondering if there were any more OUers out there.
So this thread is to make yourself known (if you want to)
Plus would anyone be up for the odd meet up to moan about TMAs, compare exam results etc, maybe in the Salisbury/Garden Ladder or if you can't get out of an evening, meet over a coffee in a local cafe?

Hi Liz, Kylie, Group-
Right - I'm getting to grips with this social networking thing - will press 'Follow' so I can keep up with the lively debate! (LOL)
Saturday 12 March is groovy and afternoon ish is good. What about Cafe Lemon or one we haven't been to yet?
Getting down to have a crack at my TMA01 this weekend, so rusty cobwebbed braincells will just have to sort themselves!

Hi all, I'm afraid I can't do the 12th now, small matter of a niece's birthday party and me being number 1 bad Auntie if I don't attend.
Can I suggest another date? I know Dug can't do the 19th, but what about the Saturday after (26th)...or you can just go ahead and meet without me *sniffs back a tear*
Hello,
I understand Liz.
26th March is ok for me. Any other takers?

Hi all,
Afraid I'm going to have be a total pain. I've decided to go on the big demo on Saturday to oppose the slashing of money to Sure Start (if this throat infection doesn't finish me off first) so I won't be around after all.
If no one else wants to come along on a Saturday pm perhaps we can have another evening beer in a pub session and compare TMA scores. A couple of people from my course forum showed an interest so I can chase them up maybe?
