Hi Jane, I recall some discussion about dangerous dogs at the last Area Assembly. There is also a report here of an unsupervised pit bull type dog impounded in May
You may have already done this but the Haringey Council website has the following advice on this:
"If you suspect that a dog is dangerously out of control or the owner is using the animal to incite anti-social behaviour then contact the Metropolitan Police on 0300 123 1212
Haringey Council is responsible for providing a stray dog collection service, if you would like to report a missing/stray dog please contact us on 020 8489 1000"
Hi Jane,
I am so sorry to hear this. I hope both you and doggie make a speedy recovery.
May I echo Adrians response by asking you to contact the police if you have not done so already.
Also I appreciate why the actual addess has been removed by admin from the original post, but could you let us know where abouts on W road the attack took place. i.e. which ladder roads was it between. I often take the baby in the pram up that way and would like to at least have arough idea which part to avoid.
There's a pitbull-type dog kept at the Milverton flats which I've seen go for other dogs, people walking along the pavement, a woman pushing a stroller
