There's a biggish-looking house for sale half way up Umfreville Rd, at the bottom rung of the Ladder. It backs onto Railway Fields, seems to have some kind of loft extension. Bairstow Eves For Sale board outside.

When we looked for a house on the ladder my wife and I literally cycled up and down every road and noted every house with a board outside that looked right and tried to see them all that weekend. It worked, though I appreciate if you have a little one on the way that getting onto a bike might not be a good plan...

Hi Nat

There are at least 3 really nice family houses for sale on Fairfax Road at the moment (all via Winkworth). There is a fantastic refurbished park at the top of Fairfax Rd (see http://theladderopenspace.wordpress.com/) and if you want to meet some of your 'future' neighbours come along to our open air film showing of 'Grease' this Friday at 7.30pm in Fairland Park!
