p.s. please provide translations of any answers in Latin and Greek. Although, Latin was run in my comp, I only did a year and got as far in the book as Caecilius est dominus. Grumio est in via etc. Amazingly, my latin teacher tried to wear his gown in class which was an open invitation to the bad boys to try and stick things to the bottom of it as he went past. Just as you can't fully understand the present without studying history, you can't fully get to grips with modern languages without studying ancient ones.

I'm sure that, without the added impetus of a Latin O-level, I wouldn't have ended up studying modern languages at University. That degree has utterly shaped my life, including introducing me to some of my oldest friends and my Dutch partner of almost 30 years. It won't be suit everyone, just as maths never suited me, but it should be available.
