Here is Mr Toad spotted creeping across my garden today while the grass was still wet from overnight dew.

Gorgeous. If it's a big toad, it could be Mrs Toad.

My slight knowledge of toads owes too much to Wind in the Willows in which, sad to say, there is no Mrs Toad. There are, of course, several sympathetic female characters who help the richly undeserving Mr Toad of Toad Hall.
