Carpet and rug cleaning
Does anyone have a recommendation for a carpet/rug cleaning service that they’ve used recently? Most of the recommendations on this site are very old, and one has a ridiculous number of 5* Google reviews,which seems a bit improbable for a small local business🧐

To DIY, Tescos have carpet cleaning machines you can hire, along with the necessary chemicals. At least the Tottenham branch does, it seems a simple system.

Was at Homebase (RIP) too, very handy for the Ladder!

I recently used Rugmaster (http://rugmaster.uk) to clean a kilim rug; not very local (bottom of Hendon Way, in N2) but will collect and deliver if what you need cleaned is portable. For fitted carpets and upholstery, etc, I used Miss Maid (https://missmaid.co.uk)who were punctual and did the job.

David 07941072292 does a good job. He has been steam cleaning my carpet for a number of years.

I can definitely recommend Chris Silvester of Safeclean North London. Mobile 07901 511114. He has done my rugs and upholstery cleaning for a couple of years now, most recently 2 white rugs a month ago. He's very good and a thoroughly nice guy.
