Best thing I found out all day. From two knowledgeable sources.
The new team hope to open in three to four weeks.
Four people seem to be behind it, one is Anthony who is already runs Ten to One on Philip Lane, another already runs a bar in Islington, another of the new team is local to Green Lanes.
Anthony was inside Jam sprucing it up. He said it would be like it was in its glory days, but better.
Later this evening bumped into one of the old Jam team, who also knew it was reopening and spoke highly of the new management team.
Good news for the area, let's not lose it again.

Amazing news - thanks for sharing
Great news - do you know if they will be hosting gigs? Hope so, was a highlight of the old establishment
Brilliant news. anthony from Ten-One is great.
I have to add, though, that the Langham Social Club has stepped up and has put on some fantastic music nights too. Very varied, slightly bonkers, but much fun. It also draws a very mixed crowd. Worth a try.
Let's hang on to all of it.
been meaning to go there for a while, whats the deal do you need to have a membership?
You don't seem to need a m'ship for the Langham if you are just going there for a night.
My hubbie is a member but that's because he plays snooker there every week.
Great to hear that the Langham has become more popular now and much more going on at weekends re music/dance. I remember some years back there was not much going on at weekends, really quiet.
I was always a big supporter of the Club and it features in my book about clubs. New committee members in recent years have shaken things up.
I'm going to start going down there again. It's such a great dance floor and concert room. Let's dance!
Absolutely!
Popped in myself for the first time this week. You're technically supposed to be a member, but you can visit as a guest to try it out, and they had no problems letting us have a couple of drinks. Two pints for under £8!
Fantastic news, I do hope it will live up to the Quto days and there is free music and a banging vegan brunch with home made hash browns! And change the sign back.. it looks like disneyland currently!
Seconded- fab Cuban night @ The Langham about 6 weeks ago- great band and DJ - and atmosphere. Looking forward to going back. We didn’t have membership but don’t think you needed it that night
You're right - you don't need membership for the music nights at the Langham. The next night of music is the 12th July and I'm sure it's the Congalese/Cuban band again. i missed them the first time, but heard it was a great night.
