A new bus route, numbered 310, starts on August 31st, running from Golders Green Station to Stamford Hill Broadway. It follows the 210 from Golders to Finsbury Park then follows the 253/4 to Stamford Hill. It will run daily from about 0700 to 1900, every 20 minutes. Of necessity, the buses wil be single-deck due to the low bridge in Stroud Green Road- its the first bus route to go under that bridge since about 1982. Route 91 is also due to be extended from Crouch End to Wood Green via the Haringey Heartlands development later this year, but no date confirmed yet.

And in other bus news, the W5 route is now served by new all-electric vehicles.
Instead of slavishly following the 210 the 310 might open new travel opportunities if it went via the Nags Head. It could then be a double decker.
Posters on bus stops now say that the 310 starts on Sunday 1st September...
Thank you Jeremy.
I'll be in North Yorkshire on the day, so not a first day rider. Were I to try to use the N Yorks local bus service where we're staying (15 miles north of York) I'd have to be a school ("permits only") student. Nothing else, not even a once a week shoppers' special. Dear me.
New bus route 310 - blog post by Diamond Geezer, with explanation of rationale. Very good.
