Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

....are we able to use these in libraries in other Boroughs?

I'm working/living near Archway this week and want to use the library there for Internet access....

Other boroughs yes. But not for your need probably.

By Archway station and the Big (non) Roundabout which is Camden Council area you'll have a problem.

"The Libraries Consortium now is made up of 23 local authorities, of which 19 are London boroughs".

Not Camden or Islington, though.

And anyway no-one can use Camden's 'Highgate Library' (not that far away from the Whittington Hospital) because it closed last December for a decarbonisation project. There's a popup library bus a few hours a week - https://www.camden.gov.uk/highgate-library

Otherwise: Highgate (Haringey) Library is at 1 Shepherds Hill, London N6 5QJ - close to Archway Road and the Jackson's Lane Arts Centre. Recently refurbished.  9-7 Mon Tue Thu Fri, Wed 10-7, Sat 9-5.

A long old slog up the hill towards Highgate, and even the buses up the hill don't take you that close either, it seems.

It's actually Highgate where I am!!

I just searched and the library is a 6 minute walk away!

Thank you! I didn't know one was here and Archway is one stop one the tube that's why I asked about that.

Archway Library is in Islington, behind Archway Tube station.

The web site states that "Anyone can join an Islington library, whether you live, work or study in the borough, or are just visiting. Fill in a simple form and you will be issued with your library card straight away."

So just join.

I was going to say that - I joined Islinagton librarries with no trouble. Archway is an Islington branch I think.

Thanks for the replies...😊
