Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Is it about time we asked the council to step aside?
Is it about time we invited a New Council leader to run the council and get rid of the old useless department so called leaders. Like a few years age we had a very stupid leader and his friends/relatives to change Black Boy Lane to a name few wanted (even the the family), and allgedly most of the residents of Black Boy Lane, including, allegedly, almost all the black residents. Why not invite Donald Trump over to run the council and get rid of the all the old useless department leaders (keeping just the good ones). I know Trump is not honest, but as most of our leaders are not, and have spent millions on useless whims that do not help the residents. Trump will be better here than in jail or Running the USA and trying to ruin the world. At least it will be fun to have blatant fool running the council the our normal fools we choose.

Yes and No. I must admit i do not know about the currant leader.But over the last 50 years Haringey council has had so many useless/dishonest leaders who have lost millions over their so called ledership. It was to be a light hearted discussion as to why we have so many useless/dishonest leaders in Haringey. Why the public just vote Labour in Haringey, even though the person is useless/dishonest and not fit for the job. Yes I know the currant and previous Governments have been the same. I also know Donald Trump should be locked up in a mental institution or in jail washing/cleaning out latrines.. It was just to be a light hearted discussion as to why we have so many useless/dishonest leaders in Haringey.

Yes and No. It is JUST a light hearted discussion as to why we have so many useless/dishonest leaders in Haringey over the last 50 years.& why the public just vote Labour in Haringey, even though the person is useless/dishonest and not fit for the job. I know trump it is clown and like some of our past leaders.

Just to 2 as i have work to do.
Joe Ejiofor, who with others ignored the resident consultation outcome over renaming Black Boy Lane, and was later barred from Labour Party. It was alleged that he and his relative and others were dishonest and further alleged that he was lieing about the renaming of Black Boy Lane. Back as far to Bernie Grant in 1985, who was famous for granting his sister Haringey money to build a charity? property in Jamaica. Yes i know he was a nice friendly person who would regually come into the Tottenham Labour club and walk around the tables asking us if we were having any problems and what we were doing etc.

Groupthink? Anything but! It's remarkably unique thinking...
However, the core of James' message and what I assume is the sentiment behind it is general frustration and despair at the perpetual waste, misprioritisation and poor governance associated with Haringey Council under Labour that many people share. It's one of the most deprived boroughs in England and thats with the wealthy, clean and well resourced areas of Highgate, Muswell Hill, Alexandra Palace, Harringay and Crouch End bringing up the average! There are parts of Tottenham, Wood Green and Edmonton that are essentially third world when it comes to quality of life and council services. If Haringey was a school it would be in special measures and the Government would have to send in a turnaround team. If it were an independent country it would be a failed state.
We need and deserve competent and inspiring leadership. I don't mind if it is Labour affiliated so long as they're good and brought in from somewhere outside of the local branch of Labour to do it. And Lammy has to go. What has the man done?

It is sad that most readers comment on the other bits of my little rant, that were mainly just put in to get people to think and react to the core, but so far you are the first to get it, congatulations from James.

James it's not a "light hearted discussion" to accuse people of dishonesty without substantial evidence.
The correct term is "defamation".
You are entitled to your opinion about someone being "useless". In a very few cases I might even feel the same. But maybe you should try finding out more about the people you criticise.
For example, you mention Bernie Grant. There's a page about Bernie in Wikipedia.

It may help you understand why he is remembered with respect and sometimes with genuine affection, by many thousands of people including those who - like me - didn't always agree with every aspect of his politics.
