Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Wireless festivals. Finsbury Park access

Hi there,

sorry if this is a repeat of another post. Wondering if anyone knows whether we can access Finsbury Park during wireless. It’s obviously a beautiful day and we want to walk the dog down our usual route. We’d usually enter from the Oxford road side ent by the parkland walk.

They built a fence over the only drop curb earlier I could use (would have to have gone the other way around the entire site). Had to wait 15 minutes for a man to angrily take apart the fence for me. It's on the accessible entrance route and everything and has "accessible entrance" signs pointing into a fence blocking the drop curb. You can't make it up.

Both the staff I spoke to said they hate it here and the festival has a bad impact on the community.

The bridge that goes over the railway into the park from Oxford Road was accessible last weekend so I’m guessing that is still the case.
