They re-modelled the King George VI memorial gardens (diag opposite Civic Centre) not so long ago, now it's full of rats.

Great to see that they are proposing a flood alleviation area - sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS) can really improve parks (e.g. at Woodberry down).

It's a real puzzle that Finsbury Park - which clearly has major drainage problems - does not have any SUDS in place or (as far as In know) planned. Given that the Green Lanes/Endymion Road junction is frequently flooded there is a real need! I wonder how much the council spends dealing with this issue, including unblocking drains?

Maybe there is a problem with the Cricket/Baseball ground being controlled separately?
