Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

 

I've been inspired/triggered by the development plans for St. Ann's and have done a little playing around with maps to see how the site developed. This is an overlay of the site in 1619, 1873 and 1955.  It's a bit confusing all together, I'll put the build-up in the comments. The lodge building does appear to have been in the roughly same place (although obviously not the same building) since 1619.

Thanks for adding the link Hugh, I couldn't find it while I was posting. The thread is massively used (and referenced) in the archaeological survey for the planning application for new housing - along with your Wikipedia info!
