"Harringay, Bounds Green and Noel Park wards, in the middle of the borough, have four Labour and four Lib Dem councillors between them, with a single Conservative councillor making up the balance.
The Lib Dems hold the west, Labour the vast majority of the east - so any ground made or lost in the "crucial" middle wards could swing the election."
