My debut novel, The Lost Wisdom of the Magi, set during the 1st century Jewish Revolt, has WON the Killer Nashville (my hometown) Silver Falchion Award for Best Historical.

Well done.
I went to Masada some years ago and have followed the evolution of understanding of the Roman capture of the hill top fort ever since. An interesting article here, and a podcast from Dan Snow's History Hit here.
