Yes, saw the same and if you walk down the path to Woodberry Wetlands there they allow you to come up close.

Dick's photo is looking north across the bridge. My 360 panoramic image below, on Google Maps is on the bridge, looking south (but you can swing it around). If you click View on Google Maps, you'll then be able to transition to the regular Google map to precisely locate the bridge. When I uploaded the panos, I connected them. So you can also click the arrows to 'walk' along the path (but the connections to the main part of Street View no longer function, after a change of policy by Google).
