Iconic Steam Train coming this way on Sunday 6th

Anyone up and about early tomorrow might want to try and catch a glimpse of the 6007 Sir Nigel Gresley.

Looks like they will be firing it up around here at 08:50. I wonder if it's in the sidings now.

I think you are right John, from the timetable it looks as though Sir Nigel is in Ferme Park sidings (the lines closest to Cranford Way) which means we get to see it heading down to Kings Cross c. 08.54 before its return pass at 09.39.

Movie in the pouring rain of Sir Nigel Gresley moving slowly north past Hornsey station at about 8:55 this morning, here. Sorry about the quality, finger on lens etc.

Some not-very-impressive shots from me. The bottom one shows the journey down to Kings Cross earlier. It was extremely wet at 9am!

Sir Nigel will be back again on Saturday 19th December - leaving Kings Cross at circa 8 am.

Wow, thanks everyone for the photos and video.

I wimped out from going up to the station when I saw the rain, so these videos and photos are great.

Sir Nigel is an absolute beauty.
