Just like to say well done to Mei Wang and the other organisers of the Noel Park Community Festival for getting over the knock back from the council over funding and raising the cash by themselves.

Dear Liz and Hugh,
I've just seen your post and thank you for your support! I hope you and other HOL members managed to attend the festival as it was open to everyone and all the entertainment was free. It was organised by myself, fellow coordinator, Taruna Robinson, and members of the Noel Park North Residents Association (NPNARA). The festival could not have happened without the support of local residents and generosity of our sponsors, Groundworks, Well London, The Mall, Lavas Restaurant, Demos & Sons, and many, many more local businesses who have supported the community in which they run their businesses.
Over 500 people attended the festival and from this we hope to start some community projects. I'll publicise this on HoL so we can all share in it and come together to collaborate on important issues.
