Delighted to learn that Indika Indian has reopened as a take-away only.
But there's now an added bonus! The front part of the premises has been turned into a peri-peri restaurant - again take-away only. The back part still cooks the same Indian food with the same chef .
The new restaurant's web presence has yet to be finished. So, if when you try you can't find it, you can call the restaurant on 020 8340 9886.

Ah that’s interesting. Hopefully this time things will work out for them. I so wanted these locals to do well, but tbh, I’ve been a bit under whelmed there and their mediocre food. Peri-peri- sounds interesting and will def check it out
I can't say I share your enthusiasm.
It's been transformed into a fried chicken shop with no sign of the old restaurant apart from the name. It's a pretty disappointing development, given that it's yet basically a junk food outlet in very close proximity to the South Harringay School and overall lowers the street.
I can't fault the economic logic of transitioning to this business model (c. 70% gross margin, a bag of frozen chicken costing £3-£4, limited reliance on staff etc.) yet I was really disappointed to see another garish chichen shop adorning our already well supplied high street in that regard...

I went past there on the weekend, and there is no indication from the street that Indika Indian Kitchen is still operating - no takeaway leaflets nor any other evidence that they still do takeaways. Worse still, their website still seems to indicate that they are operating as a restaurant: https://www.indikakitchenharingey.co.uk/
