I remember the Panorama bar - pink/purple neon sign seems to ring a bell.

Hi Bill - The floor had a urethane coating so Bostik was applied to the wooden wheels to give grip on the bends. Plastic wheels dragged & were a lot slower. The Bostik wheels marked the floor so the speed skating moved next door to The Palm Court on a smooth asphalt track.
Beadle shop was in Myddleton Road N22 before moving to Finsbury Road N22. If you use Facebook join the group - Roller Skating In North London.

Alexandra Palace ladies in Germany - l-r Chloe, Gwen, Chris, Marge & Dot - AP shirts always has red for the pillars & green for the grass.

where did you find that and do you have a date? I have never seen any pictures of my sister before! My sister is dot (Doreen) on the far right!
